    Fall is here Jersey City!

    Spectral Gala

    imageAre you looking for a cool Halloween event?  Well, look no more! On October 29th the Cathedral Hall, located at 380 Montgomery St, will be transformed into a spectacular Halloween ball.  This event at the 129 year old cathedral will hosted by Spectral Gala.  For $45 you can enjoy free beer, wine, light refreshments, music and a costume contest. Some of the ticket sale proceeds will be given to York Street Project and Cathedral Hall Restoration Fund.  This sounds like an event that you don’t want to miss.     Pumpkin carnival

Well head on over to the carnival that will be held from 11am-1pm on Saturday Oct 22nd (Rain date Oct 23) at 100 Town Square Place Jersey City, NJ. This carnival will be filled with so many fun activities including the children’s costume parade, a variety of games, and pumpkin decorations. Don’t forget to indulge in some candy while you are there!!!

    Farmer’s Market

    unnamedDo you want to provide healthier food options for yourself and your family, while supporting local farmers? Be sure to go to one of the Farmers’ Markets that will take place in Jersey City on Sat Oct 22nd.  If you are in the Bergen/Lafayette section of Jersey City stop by Arlington Park from 10am-2pm.  Jersey City Heights has one on the corner of Kennedy Blvd & Manhattan Ave.  between 8am and 2:30pm.  Or try Downtown Jersey City where there will be 2 options.  Van Vorst Park Farmers’ Market will be from 8am-3pm and Paulus Hook Farm Stand will be from 11am-4pm. No matter which one you choose to attend there will be plenty of yummy fruits and vegetables to enjoy!
