“Former All Saints School Turns into 25 New Condos”
Built in 1897, All Saints was the school that many children in the Bergen Lafayette section of Jersey City attended, until it closed in 2007. It remained vacant for many years and was eventually purchased by New Jersey Community Capital. Each classroom was converted into a residential apartment thus creating 25 units including 4 affordable units. The sale price for these units range between $115k-$400k. In order to encourage growth and improvement of the community, all of the units have been sold to buyers that will reside there at least 3 years.

“I Love Greenville Community Plan”
The Garden State Episcopal hopes to raise $985k to fund the “I Love Greenville” revitalization initiative. This community plan was established to improve issues related to economic development, employment, education, and housing. It’s goal is to create opportunities that will allow Jersey City’s current residents to enjoy the changes of the community as opposed to being pushed out. Local businesses such as Rising Tide Capital, New City Kids, Boys & Girls Club of Hudson County, and Honey Bees Double Dutch Team have formed partnerships with the Garden State Episcopal CDC to help this initiative come to fruition.
